We are happy that your student has decided to attend York University, and welcome them, and you-their parents and guardians to the YorkU community! We believe that parents and family members play a key role in the success of our students.
As a parent or family of a new student, we know you have many questions and we invite you to attend our annual Summer Parent Orientation (July 6, 2022) or Move In Day Parent Orientation Session (August 27).
Each year our Parent & Family Orientation is designed to provide parents and caregivers the opportunity to learn about the supports that their new York University student will need. Topics include:

- Student Wellness Supports
- International Student Support
- Campus Safety
- Information on Orientation programming
- Introduction to student services based on your student's specific academic program
